Mad About Cake was established in year 2008, it started way back as early in year 2002 with just an order for a friend’s wedding it has turned to be a reputable business.
In year 2008, the Mad About Cake brand was launched and has ever since, created a reputation for being one of the leading wedding and novelty cake studio design in Klang valley.
The core business of MAC is designing and creating custom made cake requested by the client and also producing their very own signature chocolate chip cookies under the brand of COOKIES MOST WANTED

How It All Started A Handmake Cake
“Kami bermula pada sekitar 2008, dimana sewaktu itu fondant bukanlah sesuatu yang biasa bagi kami. Bermula dengan membuat kek Chocolate fudge salut dengan Cream Ganache yang time tu senget, tidak kemas dan comot. Kenangan semua itu.”
“Kami mula buat kek-kek hantaran, kek birthday. Perlahan-lahan belajar dan praktikkan setiap pengalaman.”
Chef Wan Noor Zamran- “the boss”
30 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN PASTRY. Person responsible to start of the business of Mad About Cake. Started his career after graduated from Mara Institute of Technology in 1992. Majoring in Culinary arts he made a change of career by going into Pastry and it has ended with him being a Pastry Chef.
Currently he is engaged with Food Institute of Malaysia as invited trainer/lecturer, leading his team in Mad About Cake and also over the last nine years have the opportunity to head the team of cooks in Mecca for Tabung Haji.
Zam Akmal Abd Halim- “the Artist”
A very talented young chef, graduated from Food Institute of Malaysia in 2006 and joined Chef Wan Noor in his business. Under the guidance, Zam Akmal has won several competition related in cake decoration and including 1st runner up in a TV3 show called HERO OVEN. Featured in Wanita Hari Ini, Borak Kopitiam, Sembang Sahur, 101 Ramadhan, Semanis Fondant & Chef Insta.
Currently he is the person heading the creative part for Mad About Cake. With his fresh ideas and skill with the rest of the team, Mad About Cake has created some signature design in the cake industries including Sensation Water Fountain cake for Actress Elly Mazlein which been going viral globally.
